By Any Means Basketball is a training and media organization founded by Coleman Ayers, aiming to bring top tier, innovative training to every hooper in the global basketball community.
Using every means from in-person development and mentoring, to online content, programs, and consultation, we believe that every hooper in the world can elevate their game with our unique perspectives, training styles, and passion to change the world through hoops.
Based in Oneonta, NY, Coach Graham Wooden combines his experience as a Division II and III basketball player with a passion for advancing sport performance. A recipient of the 2024 ESPN Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award and the prestigious SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence, Graham is dedicated to helping athletes unlock their full potential through innovative and holistic training methods.
We realize how global of a game basketball is, and the potential it has to change lives all around the world. We're on a journey to not only assist with this internationally, but to showcase basketball cultures around the map, even the ones you'd never think about!
Here's how we've been working to grow the game:
International camps and coaches' Education clinics (27 cities and counting!)
Showcasing hoopers and basketball cultures around the world through our @GrowTheGame Instagram account.
Our partnership with the Athlete Empowerment Initiative, a nonprofit aimed at building underserved basketball communities outside of the US.
In our trainings we spend time developing players' IQ of the game, not just the flashy moves you see on T.V.
Our process is backed by the latest scientific evidence, and all of our trainers are educated accordingly.
We recognize that every player comes from a different background, and embrace diversity to learn about other cultures.
You won't see players dribbling around cones in our trainings (they can do that at home). Instead, we focus on putting players in situations they'll see in a game, to make them creative problem solvers.
